For Homeowners: Remote Consultation and Design Package Options

Package A: Zoom Consultation (required)
$250 per each
Every project starts with a zoom consultation. Your designer reviews your property information and goals along with you to customize your design package specifically for your project needs. Not every homeowner is ready to begin their design process, but they have a lot of questions. This package is also a great way to receive guidance, solidify project goals, or review project ideas without committing to a design.

Package B: Front Yard Design (only)
Starts at $1,500 for Front Yards
The package is great for home owners looking for thoughtful and unique ideas that translate into exceptional curb appeal.
- 2 – zoom/phone meeting (40 minutes)
- 2D black and white concept design (PDF)
- 1 – revision (90 minutes each for minor changes to meet design goals)

Package C: Backyard Landscape Design (only)
Starts at $3,000 for Backyards
This package is great for homeowners that are looking for creative and functional backyard landscape along with minor outdoor living additions such as pathways and small patios.
- 2- zoom/phone meeting (40 minutes)
- 2D black and white concept design (PDF)
- 1 – revision (90 minutes each for minor changes to meet design goals)

Package D: Full Property Design including Pool, Outdoor Living, and Landscape
Starts at $5,500
HDG specializes in unique design solutions for challenging properties and project goals. This package is great for home owners that need guidance to understand their property’s potential and how their goals translate into a finished product.
- 4 – zoom screen share meetings (40 minutes each) to discuss concept design & revisions
- 2D black and white concept design (PDF)
- 3 – revisions (180 minutes each for minor changes to meet design goals)

Provided by Home Owner:
- clean flat scan of property survey (must accurately reflect existing site conditions)
- property address
- project goals including installation budget (estimated) and requested design completion date
- HOA neighborhood rules/guidelines
- 3-5 images of the design area (we will request additional photos after you purchase your package)
- home owner’s inspiration images
HOW IT WORKS:
- You email the “provided by home owner” items (listed above).
- We will contact you to purchase a zoom screen share consultation (package A) to discuss your project scope further and answer any questions you have.
- You will be provided with a design package purchase link before the design process begins.
- The design process begins. Correspond with HDG’s owner, Kristin Howard, at your convenience during the design process through email and scheduled zoom meetings.
- Note: Design packages do not have infinite timelines. Successful design processes have no more than 7-10 days between meetings with a maximum timeline of 3 months.
Additional Information
The following services will not be offered including but not limited to irrigation design, engineering, construction plans, elevation details, 3D services, color rendering, installation, or other professionally licensed service.
Plans are delivered as PDF format. DWG (CAD) files are available for transfers at a rate of $250 per transfer.
